Our Mission is primarily to be sister to all. This calls us to be present, available, and attentive. By drawing near with compassion and simplicity, we make available to all the enjoyment of God’s love in everyday moments.

Being Franciscan – “Preach the Gospel and when necessary, use words.”  St Francis of Assisi

Our call is to live the Gospel with simplicity, humility, minority and joy—being with people where they are, especially the poor and marginalised. It is about seeing Christ in every person, caring for creation, and walking lightly on the earth. It is sharing God’s extravagant love through a peaceful presence, and compassionate service

Education – “Let your light shine.” cf. Matt 5:16

We are committed to providing education that forms minds and hearts, enabling every child and young person—including those with disabilities—to grow in dignity, discover their God–given gifts, and become agents of hope in their communities. We foster wisdom, faith, practical skills, and fully inclusive learning so that all can shape their future and serve others with confidence, compassion, and a deep sense of belonging.

Livelihoods and Empowerment – “that they may have life, and have it to the full.” cf. Jn 10:10

We aim through these ministries to help people gain skills, confidence, and opportunities to build dignified, sustainable lives. It is working with communities as they strengthen local economies, develop leadership, and claim their rights. Empowerment is mission lived by enabling people to flourish, make informed choices, and shape their own future with hope.

Embracing partnership and collaboration – “Many members, one body.” cf. 1 Cor 12

We recognise that God’s work is shared work. We work alongside local communities, ministries, and diverse partners—listening deeply, discerning together, and pooling gifts so that the mission reflects the wisdom of many rather than the efforts of one. It’s unity in service for the Kingdom.

Outreach – “bind up the broken hearted …” cf. Isaiah 61:1

Conscious that the poor are not only those who lack material goods, we also reach out to meet the spiritual, emotional and psychological needs of our sisters and brothers; the elderly, the lonely, and all those who need a listening ear, bringing joy and hope into their lives.

Care for Mother Earth – “All creation sings God’s praise.” cf. Psalm 148

Mission also draws us into oneness and kinship with creation. In caring for our common home, we recognise that earth is our mother and therefore a sacred gift. We seek to live in right relationships with all of creation through choices for simple and sustainable living and standing with those wounded by the broken bond between humanity and the environment. This kinship lived in right relationships invites us all to ecological conversion, reconciliation, respect and hospitality. In this way, we live the Gospel by healing the earth, safeguarding life, and nurturing hope for generations.
